The content and quality of the book were well described by Bellwether Books, and the copy I received was as stated. The book is filled with beautiful photographs and an interesting and informative text describing some lovely historic hacienda properties and their interior, architectural, and landscape designs.However, the condition was described as new, but the book had a few signs of wear and tear; minor, such as a slightly crumpled corner and surface scratches on the jacket. Still, I would have liked to have been made aware of this before buying. Bellwether does offer to replace any books with damages that the purchaser finds unacceptable, and I find no need to take advantage of that for such minor blemishes. Just would like to have known beforehand that the book would not be "perfect."I would recommend this book for anyone with an interest in this beautiful style. It also is a great armchair-traveler book!
I am so inspired by this book! It is just beautiful! I LOVE the Spanish Revival and Hacienda homes, and it's just like a Wish Book to sit and look through. Even makes me hungry for beans cooking and hand made tortillas!

I have been to the Yucatan and dream of owning a house there some day. This book transports me back there each time I open it. The photos are beautiful. The writing is interesting. I was excited to order this book and it is now at the top of my coffee table book pile, because it is my favorite to look at.
