Break Shot Patterns resulted from my study of the closing phase of hundreds of racks of 14.1 as played by the best straight pool players of the last 30 years. It was my pleasure to delve into the mysteries of the last four balls leading up to the break shot, and to uncover their methods for consistently making the transition from one rack to the next - which is the biggest secret to achieving long runs.
